Weight can go up and down as much as three pounds a day. Things that can affect it are: bowel habits, holding of urine, heaviness of clothing (shoes), water retention, not having shaved or brushed your teeth - ok, I digress. The moral of the story is, though, just be patient. Keep doing "the next right thing," and you'll see that weight start sliding off. Sometimes, scales are VERY stubborn, too. If they're "used" to being at a certain weight, or to going in a certain direction (like up), they can take several days to acclimate themselves to the NEW YOU! Just hang in there. The only ones who LOSE (not weight), are those who quit!
