Personal Data I have read up on metabolism, fat loss etc. My experience is that when I do cardio, my heart rate gets up to 80 of max when I have pushed myself and goes back to resting rate within 30 seconds when I stop. I have a heart rate monitor I wear when I exercise. This indicates that my cardiovascular system is in good shape. I lift weights and have a schedule of planned progress so that I am getting stronger as I go along. Not only is this good for my health, but it gives me and my daughters something to talk about: my younger one and I compared biceps the other day! Food is my major stumbling block. The main reason I have plateaued is that I eat too many calories every day. I am working on this as my main focus for March. What are your favorite snacks - looking for low calorie ideas! Carrot chips and hummus. carrot sticks and celery sticks and hummus. Air-popped popcorn , light string cheese sticks, greek yogurt, nuts, protein shakes, kind bars. Also went to Costco for first time last week and got a bag of little tiny "cocktail cucumbers." Also never had seen them before but i am gonna snack the heck out of them!
