I have a rare brain condition called Intracranial Hypertension. My neurologist made a statement to me that just made sense. He said, "Losing weight will not cure your disease but it will help you to feel better while you battle it." I've lost 32 pounds since that day. He was right. I do feel better.

98.9 kg Lost so far: 20.0 kg. Still to go: 8.6 kg. Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

It's nice to know some doctors admit that weight loss isn't a cure all. Yes it can help with a lot but it's not ALWAYS the answer. I'm glad it's working for you and that you're doing so well!

Yep, my autoimmune is neurologically based. Must agree, weight loss has helped. Not a cure, there isn't one, but it does make a difference. Good for you.❤️
