I'm kinda at a pause. I'm not trying to gain weight, I'm trying to gain size. I'm not eating too much - just enough. I am seeing progress at the gym and having so much fun working out.
So, goals? I'm at a point where I'm liking my progress, liking my diet, and liking my workouts. Besides the ultimate goal of slowly gaining inches, am I required to have a goal or am I okay being content? 🤔

I think you've reached your goal, then. :) To be happy with that part of your life is the goal, no? Yes? I think so. :) Enjoy!

Those are goals - not gaining weight, gaining size, liking your food and workout.

a contented man...is that an oxymoron? Actually, I'm very happy for you Chris. Not many people are actually content. It sounds like you are. So, maybe a different kind of goal to work towards...learn a new hobby, or language, or plan for a bucket list type of adventure. Life is all about learning and growing.

Man, be content. That's a perfect goal right there 👌

I have to agree with the rest. learning to be content is just as hard as losing the weight. Finding a different kind of hobby can be a good thing, just let it get in the way of keeping up you routine of exercise and weight lifting. that's one reason I regained my pounds. Just be cautious.

I forget a word in a sentence. It should read "Just don't let it get in the way of keeping up with your routine of exercise and weight lifting.

it's ok to be content but I don't think I'd have my drive if I ever felt that way.

To gain size you will gain weight won’t you ???? Muscle is heavier not that I know much about it

Chris my Amor platónico @cartergood has mentioned that his fear of gaining weight has interfered with his muscle gaining goals
