i have not lost anything..i feel like i want to cry..i need to be under 200lbs for the cruise in july..i really thought i lost some weight ..i have been dieting for 3 weeks...i am going to have to do the journal and record everything..hopefully i am just retainning water. my plan is 3 slim fast shakes a day with a boiled egg and a piece of frouit then 1 meat with a vegetable or salad for dinner. 3 shakes is abot 600 cals plus 80 for the egg and 80 for the fruiti is 760 the meat 300 plus 100 for the vegetable and 150 for drsg or butter..that's about 1400 cal a day..i don't want to cut more than 1500 a day because i will be working out. starting today..if this doesn't work i will eliminate the regular slim fast i plan to drink before my work out.
113.9 kg Lost so far: 0 kg.    Still to go: 34.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Try incorporating more protein into your diet. I got into lifting a couple years ago when I started losing weight, it was the only exercise I enjoyed doing. I started reading about how to eat to go along with my gym time and it turns out a high protein diet is good for both building muscle and losing weight. Protien not only helps you feel full but your body burns about 25% of the calories in protein just digesting it, it’s called the thermogenic effect. My lunch today is 6 oz of grilled chicken breast, a cup or so of roasted string beans, and some Heinz 57 for dipping, coming in at around 400 calories with 42 grams of protein. I use coconut oil spray to cook both so negligible calories from that and I’m full.

Slim fast shakes are not a satisfying way to live. Try counting every calories and eating non processed, cooked at home foods. Also, husband and I only eat between the hours of 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm. It really helps with will power. It simply takes food out of the equation during the “fasting” hours. We allow ourselves coffee and tea and water during those hours. And of course, we allow our selves the occasional night out :) You can do it, but it has to be a life change, not a punishment.
