Yeah, portion control with a small bowl,I try to have one of dairy(like this one with oatmeal), one with fruit and another with protein

I find smaller dishes, silverware and portions really help me. Also, slowing down when I eat helps me psychologically.

Carbs are high with oatmeal right? I was told to keep carbs no higher then 48 G a day, protein 80+grams a day, 8 bottles water. Whey protein included as well!

I try to eat a bowl (1/3 cup dry) of steel cut oatmeal everyday.

I started mixing Hemp protein in with my oatmeal and reduced oatmeal to half a packet. My nutritionist a few years ago advocated for 50/100/100 (fat/carbs/protein) and was ok with 120-130 on protein; but yes oatmeal is high.
