Started getting headaches when I started dieting last week. Probably due to not eating and too much caffeine. Trying to drink enough water while not eliminating diet soda because it does help with eating less throughout the day. It's cold and snowing out at the moment, not that that has to do with anything. Except that I can't walk outside but not like I was going for walks anyway. I may try weight training tonight if we can get the kitchen/dining room area warmed up.

My weight started at 242 lbs. That's the highest I can remember it. I've been losing tiny bits of weight over time, some from using the stairs, but just started dieting seriously last Friday (a week ago today). Last weeks starting weight was 226.6 lbs. Which means I lost a total of 4 lbs. so far. That is twice the amount I had originally hoped for. So small victory for me. I'm afraid that I'll get too excited about that and expect it every week. What happens when my weight loss starts to plateau?? I will be very disappointed with myself and feel like I'm failing. I do not want that. However adding exercise in some form everyday will definitely help, but with my depression it's hard to make that a habit.

I see my psychiatrist on Tuesday to get evaluated for ADHD. Finally!!! I'm hoping that I can start meds soon. My goals are to be more active and maybe get more done around the house. And the appetite suppressant doesn't hurt either. So I'm excited!

That's enough for today. Maybe more tomorrow. We will see. We are supposed to go to Stephen's mom's house tomorrow to help and watch over her since she just had knee surgery and can't be left alone. Not sure if I'm going with Stephen yet or not. Well, bye for now!

Headaches may be due to lack of salt - try having salty broth or bouillon.
