I really don't care for the way that sugar alcohols are NOT subtracted from the total carbs in a food. It makes me feel like I had WAY more than I know I did.

Weight loss is just an added bonus to what I'm trying to accomplish here. I have type 2 diabetes and my fasting blood sugar is usually quite high. Today the highest it's been is 118 and that's all thanks to the Atkins approach!!!
