I am now walking ten to eleven miles a week. I walk five times a week, at least two miles a day. Dr appt this Thursday for hernia evaluation.....maybe I have dropped more weight. Actually looking forward to finding out. Hoping if I can keep up with my walking and better eating, I can avoid hernia surgery. It has been lots less painful lately.

Knees still not loving my walking, but hoping ice will help. Gonna keep walking. Gonna keep making healthier food choices. Gonna keep drinking eight glasses of water every day. Gonna get to sixty loaded for bear!

Great job on getting exercise five days a week. My knee is much better since I lost the extra weight I was carrying around. Hopefully yours will get better soon too. When my knee would swell from walking, I would take ibuprofen (not every day, but occasionally to help) and give it a break every other day by doing non weight bearing exercises like crunches or arm exercises with light weights.
