So I'm finishing out my first week w/ Atkins and I have to say that this time around I'm surprising myself. The willpower that I have found has been incredibly amazing. I have always been on some kind of diet. I've tried every "miracle" weight loss pill ever made, with the exception of very few. And looky here... still overweight. I started this time around after going out for supper with some family. I felt absolutely horrible afterwards. I knew then and there that something had to change. My oldest sister Stephanie (iaborn67) has been doing the Atkins thing for a while now and she has some incredible strength. I thought if she could do it then there is no good reason why I shouldn't be able to do it.

I have to say that the only thing that I truly miss is MILK. I've always been a carnivore and I love meat. But I also LOVE LOVE LOVE milk. This part is the absolute hardest.

I found that I like a lot of different things that I have never given myself a chance to try before. Green beans. Who knew they were so good? haha.
