I've only been eating 1000-1200 daily calories for the past week to get myself off to a quick start, and it worked. I must increase my calorie intake to 1200-1400 for a few days to see how I respond. I'm a pretty active person, and I'm walking in addition to daily activity, so I need to keep up my energy.
