Home Reno Update: No one fell off, and 3 different sections of the roof successfully repaired! Check. Eaves wood replaced. Check. Back screen door replaced. Check. 3 windows down, one to go...almost check. then still need to do 2 interior doors and maybe one exterior.

All in all - it's been great weather, great progress, so grateful to my brother in law (very talented) and my husband (the BEST)...we live in New England in a 200 year old Colonial that has been in hubby's family (ancestry) since it was built. Our son is the 11th living generation in this house. My hubby's parents live here in an inlaw unit, plus my mom, plus us and the kids...we are our own boot camp of sorts.

haven't been able to get in my office much this past week or get to the computer. been writing everything down though...and doing well.

Totally missing fellow boot camper's ....where is everyone????

Wow, I just cannot imagine 11th generation living in the house. I moved 18 different times before I was 14 years old. I have lost count since then. I sometimes envy pple that have roots, but then my wanderlust starts again... We are here hun, never fear :)

That is so neat 200 years, bet the house has lots of stories and 'feelings'. You have to post pictures sometime. You are so fortunate to have men that are handy with repairs, want to share them? LOL
