A slice of pumpkin bread is 7 points?! Fall looks a little bleaker suddenly!

Weigh in is tommorrow and I have no idea what it is going to say.

I did bad at the beginning of the week. Exercised a good portion of it off. THen ate less for the rest of the week but a few higher pointed foods slipped in there. And I haven't really written everything down this week.

So....I am bracing myself for a small increase or staying the same. Although a loss would be a pleasant surprise that has happened before.

My mom keeps throwing out these abstract goals she thinks up. Her latest one was 50 pounds by christmas. Technically if you couunt the 30ish I lost that is do-able but at the same time if I don't lose more than 4 pounds a week she is disappointed.

Thank god I attend the meeting because now I know just how out of touch mom is. ANY loss is good and something to be proud of!

RE:MOM - bless her for her ambition - but its your body - only yours - for example if you loose a lot of weight only you will get to reap the benefits of new cute clothes - and if you are over weight only you will have the health problems - so stay aware that if your body is happy loosing one pound a week - that is fantastic and healthy - you will loose 50lbs - but just let your body do it at its own natural pace - You are doing so well - and at the Chocolate factory - good for you!!!!

Hear Hear! Mothers/husbands/friends mean well, but sometimes their "enthusiasm" comes off as judgement or just plain rude. However, bless her for supporting you, in her own way. I know of people who battle the person in their life who says "you'll never make it", so at least your mother is trying to be supportive. You are doing absolutely fabulous! It's inspiring to see you in it for the long haul!
