Came home to a cool dreary evening, but no rain in the forecast. Decided to stay in and be lazy - at least lazier. Had one of those hectic non-stop days, with unexpected challenges coming out of nowhere. Was still kind of wound up when I left work, and almost ran a guy off the road. I saw him give me the french salute in my rear view mirror, but I deserved it. Wasn't that long ago that I would have done the same thing. So, I decided not to work him over. He obviously has an anger issue. He was traveling in my blind spot, and I must have missed him when I changed lanes. Actually, I had stepped on it to get well in front of the truck that I saw coming up in the left lane. Good thing I did because I actually landed a few feet in front of Mr. Congeniality - who must have been in front of the truck, but in my blind side. He was probably inconvenienced, but not endangered. But, I wouldn't have done it if I had seen him.

I'm surprised at how well I am managing my intake right now - especially after having backslid for almost a month. Maybe, sometimes it just takes a break - to break through.Or maybe it's those green coffee beans. LOL! I don't know what it would take to convince me that they are making a difference. They don't suppress my appetite; I still get famished. I guess I would have to go back to old habits to see if they work - since they're supposed to do their job without me changing anything, and I'm not ready to do that yet. So, I'll keep taking them for a while; I don't care what gets the credit, as long as the weight comes off. At this point, I'll take all the help I can get.

I consider near misses as wake up calls to pay attention. As we get older, we may not be able to drive better but we can drive smarter. BTW - Congrats on your new focus - could tell something was up after your previous journal.
