Okay, my cholesterol levels have never been anything that worried me. I am very blessed to have good genes in that department. In 2010 my total cholesterol was 168 and last year it was 190 - although it was an increase, I was not concerned - obviously it was still under the magical 200 and I figured I was over 50 now and after an extended low carb diet that was still good. Well, I got my numbers from my physical for this year in the mail yesterday - I already knew my fasting blood sugar was perfect and my blood pressure was good and no more meds required BUT was I surprised to see my cholesterol was 149!!!! The doctor put a ! after the number. YAY and again THANK YOU to Dr. Atkins who saved my life!!! LOW CARB LIFESTYLE ROCKS!!!
