gigiphilby's Journal, 21 Oct 18

Yesterday was...interesting, to say the least. Had a great birthday. Hubby and some friends took me out for dinner. Decided not to obsess about the diet. I didn't over do it(so I thought) salad to start, 7 oz. Ribeye that literally melted on my tongue, 1/2 of a baked potato. 2 glasses of delicious wine. Got a slice of cheesecake to go. A girls gotta have birthday cake, right? Went to the mall to get some walking in, and stopped at Starbucks for a macchiato for the drive home. At 3 a.m I woke up sick. Promptly " released" everything I had in my stomach. EVERY THING. Lesson learned.
Today, back to my woe.

Sounds like you had a nice birthday! So sorry you paid a horrible price for it though. 😞. Cutting carbs then adding them back in can have that affect. Honestly, that’s what keeps me from caving some days. Not worth it in the long run. Hang in there dear. You’ve got this!

Live n learn. Thanks for the support. It was definitely not worth it in one sense, but in another....most valuable. With the holidays quickly approaching, this memory needs to stay fresh. Decisions will be easily made.
