what the hell....... seriously how is it possible to put on one and a half kilos in one day?! Talk about a depressing Sunday wake up.
I ate 2 eggs for breakfast, a vegetable soup for lunch, protein bar and hot chocolate for a snack and chicken and salad for dinner.
I guess this is a good time to say Im lactose and gluten intolerant. The soup I ordered had barley in it and the hot chocolate wasnt lactose free. So I was dealing with an extremely bloated stomach. My husband says it is water retention but is it really??

I am feeling your frustration.

You’d need to eat over 10,000 calories to put on 1.5kgs of fat, so yeah, most likely just water. My weight varies by up to 2 kg every day, making tracking quite frustrating. Recommend you weigh each day but only look at the weekly averages. Wish FatSecret showed this in Weight graph

Thanks 😄 I know I shouldnt let it get me down. Was just a little shock to the system to think all my hard work for the week went down the drain in one night. I will sus it put again in a few days when my stomach settles after the gluten intake

I'm not an expert but I heard that soup contains sodium, which can make your body hold onto water making the water weight appear like you have gained

Simply water retention. Try not to rely on weight scales too much , your weight sometimes can be the same , but your body looks so much better. Also during period women can gain 1-2kg , it’s not fat, so no need to be worried

keep punching at it some times it takes up to 2 days for food to go through your system. over the last 2 months. There was times I asked if it would ever drop and it does. up and down. don't be discouraged.

You can get over active with jumping on the scales. I weighed myself every day for a week. That was interesting. Without changing anything my body weight fluctuated up to 2.5Kg. Pick a day and a time and weigh yourself just once a week. But don't sweat it; sometimes you will be ultra pleased and others well hmmmm. Stick to your plan and you will always be at that happy place. :)

I don’t think weighing yourself once a week is a good idea, it can even be worse than daily. If you happen to get a low start and high end it looks like all your hard work for 7 days was for nothing, when in reality your average daily weight may have dropped. Weigh daily, compare weekly. Anyway, keep at it!

Took me awhile to find what works for me. With food. Then had to try walking as well. Now for me it's working.
