DAMN TRUFFLES! I was restocking the chocolate truffle trays in back when I spied the Egg Nog and Pumpkin Pie truffles out to be packed in mail order boxes. I never have tried these before and the store won't be carring them for a few months. There was no better opportunity to try them.
THe pumpkin pie was so delicious and reminded me a little of my favorite truffle currently (cinnamon). I tried the eggnog one and it was hard and weird and made me wonder if it was stale. It became more pleasent with time. I longed to have that pumpkin pie flavor back in my mouth and popped anouther one in before I knew what I was doing.
I've been counting truffles as like 3 points each! AH! I blew 9 points in less than a minute! I did extra exercise last night that could cover one of the truffles. But the other two...sigh. I guess I'll just have to be very good the next few days to make up for it.
