I am dropping weight easily and in a healthy manner still...I had a good day today. I walked for 45 minutes and did some positive visualizations while I walked. I have some gratitude lists to do tonight and some more visualizing so I turned off the TV to do something constructive. I have been a little grumpy around my husband today. I need to be more understanding of him. It is a little hard having him underfoot every day especially since he has been in a bad mood several times. I asked him today why was he so grumpy but I knew the reason was me. I have been bugging him about doing visualizations and gratitude lists and he just wants me to stop bugging him and leave him alone. I get a little obsessive when I get interested in something sometimes. I ate over 1800 calories the other day because I did not plan ahead but today I did OK. I did walk both days which was great. I am going to play Bingo tomorrow night with my best friend and my 19 yr. old daughter so my husband will be happy to get a night away from me. My husband is doing well other than being in a grumpy mood. He goes back to the doctor tomorrow for a re-check after surgery. The last time he went he hurt for three days after the check-up so I know he is a bit nervous about going. I hope they get the lidocaine right this time. I haven't started my DVD exercises yet but I have about run out of excuses. The living room is cleaned up enough and I think I can get to the TV and the remote control so now I just have to do the exercises.
Wish me luck. I probably won't start tomorrow but maybe Saturday I'll get motivated. Have a great evening.

I wish you luck Andrea and a better day tomorrow. Put in that dvd and away you go...it always seems to take time to do something like that the first time, I am the same way...eventually we run out of exuses and have to get to it and then you find out its not so bad...Have a good nite..:)

Andrea, I am sorry that hubby is out of sorts. When my hubby isn't feeling well or is worried he gets a bit cranky too. Good for you for cleaning up the living room, and getting things ready to exercise. Once you start it will get easier every time. Hope tomorrow is better.

Good luck getting started with the DVD's. Try not to get frustrated if you can't do all the moves the first few times. It's a process. Something must be in the air, my husband is grumpy, too! Your's is probably due to nerves about the appointment tomorrow. And he probably doesn't like hanging around the house all the time, either. The good thing is he is recovering. And you've managed to get through the process with him. That, alone, can be difficult. I get obsessive, too. I think it's related to being overweight, in a way. I go through periods when all I can think about is one thing. Thank God, right now it's health and fitness : ) I hope this current obsession continues, though. : ) I think you should just put in the video and tell yourself you don't actually have to complete it, just do a few of the moves. ctlss is right, it gets easier every time : )
