laehm's Journal, 13 May 10

I changed my RDI to 1800. Yesterday I kept in the range and did my normal exercises. I didn't feel hungry 90% of the time. I do need to get my breakfast items going since I don't particularly care to have breakfast. It is healthier for me to do so. Usually coffee is good enough. Idk...I have always skipped breakfast since every time I ate breakfast in the morning I would get sick. Not sure if that is the same as now but I surely will try to add that in.

I crashed extremely early yesterday. I got very mad at my sons bus driver. She gave him a citation on the 29th of April and then again yesterday. He is ADHD and we don't want to medicate him to a point of stuper. I want my son to learn how to control his actions, not use drugs to control him. He is currently taking Strattera and Zoloft. It is a good mix for him. It calms him just enough to use his brain. He still acts before thinking but is starting to control himself to pay attention to that type of stuff.

Anyway, his bus driver is citing him for moving around on the bus. Yesterday he wanted to talk with friends and she kept telling him to sit by the window. Come to find out, he isn't allowed to sit with anyone and he has to sit by the window the entire trip. To me that is isolating him. All that does is make it worse. I never have a problem driving around with him cause he has someone to talk with, theres music, etc. Can she even allow him to chat with friends or even sit with someone?

Oh well, I am taking him to and from school now. I am tired of dealing with avoiders.
