Fasting until 1pm - first time having some cravings - staying strong as tonight is dinner at McDonald’s for first day back to school - need to burn every calorie I can!

I'm going to assume McDonald's is your child's choice for dinner! I know, we'd "treat" our kids for special days when they were young, but at least these days McDonald's has some healthier options.
