Finally getting rid of the 'little boy' arms :) This is after only one week of bulking. But, as soon as I hit 180lbs I'm back to fasting. Gaining weight is really hard on me mentally.

Be careful. Lots of people get slap tears from weightlifting. I have one from a car accident - constant pain in my neck, right shoulder and arm. Requires surgery.

Been lifting heavy for 18 years, no slap tears, lol. Lifting with proper form is a far cry from a car accident. No need to instill fear...

As far as frequency, I say hit each muscle twice a week at least. If your muscles are ready to go again for 4 days, you are not training often enough. High-frequency moderate volume. Gains. Newb gains are the best. Sometimes I wish I could go back to experience that again. You feel as if they will never slow down and then they do. :(

@Diablo360x, @chrisw77 - Thanks for the important info. I have been reading up and everyone talks about the 'newbie gain'. So yeah I'm gonna just enjoy the easy win but realize it for what it is :) I also know I need to join a gym when I get back from vacation because leangains progressive overload says I'm suppose to loading up the plates...

@chesgreen - Yeah I am committed to OMAD. During the day it allows me to feel the joys of fasting. This is my 'normal' feeling. Also, because of the whole 'rest and repair period' I am now only running on Sundays. Today I am only allowing myself a really long walk :( One huge thing that I am looking forward to when I get back to cutting is being able to run as much as I darn want to :) Right now my lifting is 3 days a week. What @Diablo360x says about hitting the muscle groups is in line with everything I have read so far.

Gee man, I had no idea you looked that good. Your posts made me think you were bony. Keep it up, and keep your mind straight. Definitely a different mindset than just trying to lose. Good work!

@TomLong - I wish I took better pictures, but when I was 163 (just a week ago!) my arms looked almost half the size they are now. My wife @PrincessValerie kept complaining that I looked 'too thin'. Now, lets assume we are also seeing 'fat' as well as muscle growth to account for the huge difference, well, it still looks a LOT better haha
