Day one of exercising went great! Thirty minutes on the treadmill wearing my Sketcher Shape Ups shoes. Makes it a little more challenging, but they are so nice and cushy, my feet love them.

I incorporated a little of the Body for Life method of doing four peaks. Started out slow, then moderate, then hard, then back to slow, etc. I think I like that routine the best.

Dusted off my old MP3 player and discovered that it doesn't work with all the songs I've purchased on iTunes, so I treated myself to a new iPod. Hot pink. :-) It was on sale and I had $35 off from rewards certificates so I don't feel too guilty. Can't wait to jam out during today's exercise. Music makes it so much more enjoyable.

I have to agree! Music is always a nice add on! Those sketcher shape-ups, Do they really work as stated in the commercials? I have been tempted to get the shoes and the sandals but don't want to waste money if it doesn't. but then, they are sketchers and I LOVE sketchers, lol. The four peaks is great...with the wii fit plus I don't have the chance cause it mixes up yoga, strength training and aerobics but when jogging, biking, etc. it is easier and better for your body. Keep up the good work, I see the weigh in over the last few days has made steady progress! ;)

I'm still waiting for the butt they show in those commercials ;) but I can definitely tell they are harder to walk in...sort of like walking on sand, but not quite that hard. They are very comfortable. I've heard of the wii fit from a couple of friends but haven't tried it out yet. It would be nice to have a different indoor work out option other than my treadmill. How do you like yours?
