winddancer's Journal, 28 Apr 10

Good Morning World, yup this site is my world while I'm trying to loose the weight and looking for support which everyone gives so readily.

Just returned from my 1.25 min walk, have to subtract 5 min.stopped and talk to a friend who is going out to St.Pete Bch,staying at the Don Ce Zar a most beautiful old hotel right on the beach. Its really in Passe-
A-Grille and it is known as the Pink Palace. Its got quite a colorful history because Al Copone use to stay on the top floor when he came to
Fl,so you can see just how old this place is.If you ever get a chance
stay there, you will love it.They have wonderful Champagne Buffets on
Sunday, everything of course on the pricey side but worth it.

Great day in Fl,crisp, with sun shinning, birds chirping and of course
those osprey looking for things to eat.Baby eaglet still calling in
the nest but he'll make it one of these days, just needs the courage to
figure out how to keep his wings and tail from getting caught on those
branches that hang around the nest.

This reminds me of me having courage to forge forward inspite of bumps along the way.But I love me,I love whats happening,I love the way I
look.Don't like my hair,its wild looking.LOL Well,I can't love everything about me.

Put on a shirt this morning for my walk and instead of sticking to all
the stuff, the shirt went over smoothly.
I know I loss inches but can't find the paper I wrote it on.I am
notorious for putting things on pieces of paper and sticking them some
where.Maybe I'll come across it,who knows.

Getting more confident about my food, taking time figuring out what to
have, yeah, its a hazzle but its worth it.One thing for sure this WOE is
going to make me very successful in the long run, going to reach goal
learn how to do maintence.By next year I intend to be into maintence not having to think about losing the weight but rather continuing with
my maintence,to me that will be the biggest thrill of a lifetime other
then having my girls and dh.

Hello to my buddies, you know I'm always a day late and a dollor short
trying to answer any posts you do.But know I think of you all.Well
I think I'm ending this book for today, going to post my food now.
My wish for you & FS friends a great rewarding and successful day.You
can do anything you put you're mind too, thanks for being with me on this journey and sharing, couldn't do it wo you

Referring to your post: "Baby eaglet still calling in the nest but he'll make it one of these days, just needs the courage to figure out how to keep his wings and tail from getting caught on those branches that hang around the nest." This reminds me a lot of ourselves. We are the baby eaglet and while we don't know how to spread our wings just yet, we get stronger every day. One day we will have the courage to set sail and be free from the weight that confines us. Great post honey.

Thanks Stef, always love hearing from you always. It'll be a great day when that baby soars and a great one for us too when we reach our goals.By the way love the meatballs, they walk with me as a snack

I use them as a snack also, Mary Ellen. It is so easy to just grab one and go. When hubby makes them he doubles up on the batch, and puts the extras in the fridge so I have them handy. He is always tring to find ways to make this easier for me. I do not know what I would do without him. He is blind, and does all the cooking, cleans the kitchen, the bathrooms, and does all the laundry. I take care of the traditonally male chores (mowing, repair work, yard work, etc), and often people will kind of shake their heads at our untraditonal marriage, but it works so well for us. Almost 29 years he has been taking care of me, and I could not ask for more. OOPS, I was rambling again. Sorry! lol

Good morning ladies.. I thought I was up early and on FS but you girls are always there with comments that make me smile. I enjoy having my coffee and reading your comments. We will all fly like those eagles, free of the excess weight and the things that come with it. Have a great day :)
