Oh, my gosh. Look at that .6! (I think your scale is taunting you). Quick, get naked and step on it again!

Yup - the scale made me happy today - but not quite all the way down! I changed up some of my percentages of macro-nutrients and it appears to be working well for the moment!
|
LOL, I like Jenkie's comment, get on the scale naked! Sounds like something I would try. You are soooo close now to Onederland!!!

So excited for you! What a fun milestone!

HCB, good to see you are on the brink of achieving a milestone! side note: you may want to spread out your whey protein over the course of the day as the body can only absorb so much within a short period of time. My understanding of it is excess within a short period of time will be excreted from the body and/or stored as fat. You can research it.

Oh - thank you, Mark13. That is very good advice, and I have heard protein can be stored as fat. I will try splitting it up.
|
you're welcome. it doesn't denature or anything once mixed, so what i do is do 1 to 2 servings in a large blender and have some pre-workout, store the rest in the fridge for post workout, or really any part of the day i want to squeeze some protein as the body is constantly using from replenishing its protein stores.

Hey Mark13...thanks for that advice...I think I will consider trying that as well. :)

yw.yduj57, let me know how it works out. be careful with whey protein though, it is digested super quick by the body so even if you are taking it throughout the day but you have not been engaged in some form of physical activity to stimulate lean mass (muscle) synthesis, it is likely that a large portion of each serving will be converted to fat for storage.
