Day 53 of my 90-day program went really well. I woke up early, well rested (sleeping really good on this diet now, at first I woke up during the night a lot). I was running about 15 minutes late so I walked fast and jogged on the down hills. I made up the lateness and arrived to work right on time. Watered plants and talked to the bird nesting in one of my hanging baskets. (same one as last yr?)

I started to figure out that I'm supposed to report in on Thursdays to the 8-week keto challenge I'm doing simultaneously with my 90-day program. (just like to be part of something) I weighed in with a loss and then again today with a loss. So, I'm happy because this is a good way to start my 72 hr. fast after breakfast.

I'm going to try a 4th day of fasting either this monday or the next. I just want to see if I can do it and experience what it feels like. I have never passed 72 hrs so this is new territory and out of my comfort zone (which even Crumbcake is curious).

Glad to hear things are going great. Please don't stress over a fast. You are able to eat (correctly) and exercise and lose weight, so you DO have a diet that you know works!

@Adefwebserver. my goal with fasting is detox, the weight loss is a secondary benefit. My goal is to practice and improve over time. Eventually, I want to go to 5-day, 10-day, 21-day, and 40-day. What about you?

My fasting has been about weight loss. I have been 'obese' nearly ALL my adult life. I have tried everything and was able to get to 208 but I never was able to make that stick :( If fasting didn't work I would simply give up at this point and just accept being fat. - - Interesting thing about 'Detox' I have has receding gums for 30 years and for some reason the condition is improving! This one could be not having sugar in my mouth all day long! :) :) The energy I have this morning is INSANE. I have fasted a lot in the past few months and I never felt this 'high'. This is also the longest I have done a 'water fast'. My body must have finally hit the Ketones only phase. Sooo glad I am going to go 6 more days... So yea I plan to keep fasting. Once I hit my goal weight I hope I can binge on the weekends and fast during the week. If I can make that work I will be mentally fine knowing I can eat pizza and Big Mac's :)

Good luck in your fasting goal! The longest I did was a 96 hour fast ( 4 days). I felt really good. And great job on your continued weight drops! Have a great weekend 😀
