Steven Anthony's Journal, 05 Jun 18

Day 50 of my 90-day program (YAY) was hard. I woke up really early and had coffee and walked the dogs. It was already warm, but a lovely day. I was weak from fasting but feeling otherwise fantastic. I made my lunch and left for my 5-mile walk.

About the .5 mile I realized how weak I was and how slow I was walking and thought "am I gonna make this?" So, I just walked slowly. On the 3-mile part I was pretty sure I was going to give up, but Crumbcake said "one foot in front of the other". Then, starting the 5th mile, I was pretty sure I could finish but was a little wobbly, people might have thought I was drunk. lol Crumbcake kept telling me "you can do it" and "don't worry what people think" I told him that if he had any ideas about me sprinting at the end he should just forget it. Somehow, at the last 50 yards, Crumbcake thought he would be funny and took off with a smile and jogged back to the car. I was amazed....no really amazed. lol

The problem started when I ate my lunch, I realized this was not enough food to keep me happy, but it was all I brought. I kept drinking coffee, and drinking water, but by the time I got off work, I was crazy hungry and a big grump. All I wanted to do was get home and eat. Traffic seemed so slow. Good think no one got in between me and the fridge. I make the fasted taco salad (I had prepped the foods on Sunday) while eating a cold jalapeno pepper popper. (not bad cold) and I scarfed down so fast, but got over the "crazy hungry" part. WHEW

So, too many calories on Monday. Stayed Keto though. Both Crumbcake and I hope today is better and grump doesn't show up. (who was that guy ?) Have a great day everyone!
