Well my week of planned keto snacks and meals and motivation kinda took a crap this morning... 24hrs into keto again and my fridge decided to die over night or sometime yesterday without us noticing. We fully stocked the fridge with meats, cheeses, low carb veggies, creams, butters, pickles, miracle noodles, tofu, nuts and nut butters... now everything has spoiled... 😳☹️😱😩😭
I was hopeful of some items and gave a sniff or sip test... I cannot get the sour milk taste out of my mouth 🤢
I really wish I could catch a break and things could go smoothly for me... making keto WOE more obtainable for me. Pretty bummed out right now. And this was definitely not something we could afford to happen especially right after paying rent and fully stocking the fridge... 😩

Lol - Kenna 😄. We had a milk man who bought the bottles of milk on a truck pulled by a horse. My mum used to give me a crust of bread to feed the horse! We also had a van bringing fresh fruit and vegetables and a van selling cheese, eggs, bread, bacon, cakes, etc. Plus the ice cream vans, of course. On Good Friday we would have a man walkin down the road with a tray, ringing a bell and shouting "hot cross buns". Oh dear, I'm really showing my age 😂

Do you have renters insurance? Some policies cover that after a deductible. Same thing happened to our large commercial freezer a couple of years ago while away on vacation. Our homeowners policy covered it and we got a few hundred back.

Doobie— that is wonderful. Was that here, in the USA. Yea, I’m 70. We probably are close to the same age. Those are really such fun memories.

We had a local milk man when I was a kid. But didn’t last long. (I’m 31) we now have a local veggie service that delivers amazing produce every Wednesday. And you can customize it and I think there is a local meat/egg/milk package add on. I have to look more into it. Because I really like exploring veggies but my kids are so picky that I never branch out when at the store picking them out myself... but if some awesome fun produce game along in a crate on my door I’d be stoked!!!
