Steven Anthony's Journal, 02 Jun 18

Day 47 of my 90-day program was just perfect. I made plenty of food for a late breakfast, (I wanted to start my 72 hr fast by 11:00am. I could not eat all the breakfast and was full after only about half. I stayed pretty full most of the day. I had an afternoon client that canceled, so went shopping at WalMart. That was kinda tough, I don't like all the temptations, but managed it, no bad food in the cart. I went to bed earlier than normal, must have needed sleep.

So, thinking what to write today about something I have learned...oh, I know! I have learned that I really don't need to eat so much. No, really! I used to think I needed 3 meals a day plus snacks. I have learned that there are days when I like to have 2 meals, and some days when 1 meal works perfectly fine. One thing I like about the Keto Diet is I can be perfectly satisfied with a calorie intake low enough to lose weight. Not everyday is the same. I have a good plan and when I can eat less, I do.

Well, it's summer and hope everyone has a great time this weekend. May you all be blessed.

I thought of you yesterday when I forced myself to exercise while I was tired during my fast (this is rare but it does happen). I just didn't want to exercise, but I remembered that you were doing real good on your exercise and I felt like I "cheating" if I didn't :)

LOL, yes the exercise is reported to dig deep into fat stores when fasted. Great job, I noticed your weight is really coming off. YAY! But, I'm behind a little. :)

That is a good lesson to learn. I am working on that myself. Thank you for sharing!

I couldn't handle keto, but I admire someone that does. Good for you

I feel like I don’t need many calories either; most of the time. But does eating only 400ish cals gonna cause a stall?

I like the idea of a 90 day time line. Think I will borrow it. Perfect for summer.

I’ve done a 500 calorie a day with supplement and lost 30 lbs, I find I can not do it anymore with my stomach issues so have started a 1400 calorie a day for 5 weeks suppose to lose 15 lbs. with there food list. Not all programs work we have to find the right one for our lifestyle because it is what we eat from here on out. Making life style changes . Hope everyone has a great weekend !

@Damaris Berdut, one thing I am learning is that things I could not handle in the past, I can learn to handle now, little by little. Just do what works for youl

@CrashtestDawnie, doesn't sound like much calories, there is some research that claims eating lower calories eat day will, overtime, cause one to adapt. That's the advantage of fasting, it does not do that. Dr. Fung explains this on YouTube. Thanks.

@Chow Moore, yes, small bite size goals amist your longer range goals? This could work.

@Mrsdave1, Good luck, I agree we have to make "lifestyle changes". Thanks
