Day 46 of my 90-day program went really well. I was able to stay "on plan" by eating one meal and lots of coffee. I woke up with plenty of energy, washed a car, made lunch for work, and walked 5 miles. I did have a weight-loss over the week, but now I'm aware of water fluctuations. Still not to the weight I was 2 weeks ago, but it's fat loss I'm after, not water weight. I must be patient.
So, it's halfway through my program or maybe I should call it a challenge. Yesterday, someone asked my about the program, why only 90 days? Well, when I found fastsecret I realized how little I actually know about my food choices, how many calories I'm actually eating. I decided to set aside 90 days to learn more about me. I've learned so much over the last 45 days, it is like I was a weight-loss idiot.
So, it is a good time to reflect and evaluate what I have learned. I think I will share some of the more important lessons over the next few journal entries. For today: I have learned that "life happens". I have to be prepared for some small "setbacks" and adopt a philosophy of "less than perfection" which goes against my personality. It's not "all of nothing". I'm just not perfect (Crumbcake says speak for myself) I'm going to make mistakes and I have.
That's enough for today, I hope you all have a great day and weekend! I'm going to have my last meal around 11:00 and then begin a 72 hr fast. I didn't make it the last 2 weeks, so this week I am more determined, let's see what happens.
