I was thin sporty and I ate a very little. It feels good. I was very comfy inside myself, I was young, I was healthy..... Then perimenopause came, but Isidro know it. There was no internet at the time and I was 34,who knew. I had early perimenopause. So I began gaining weight. Also medication and depression. Today that wouldn't have happened because of the internet. Sadly they were other times. I have never been thin again and oh god I miss her. For 10 years I am a totally different woman, plus sized. Fat let's say. Thank god I like myself, I love myself. But yes I miss her... Her style, her ways, what can I say.? Life is a university. Take care and continue searching for tools and tips, I do!bye

If doing Keto raised protein above other diets it can have a benefit, otherwise no. Keto is pretty low protein usually so I doubt there is any benefit to fat loss given the same amount of calories. There are dozens of metabolic ward studies proving that when protein and calories are equal, there is zero difference in fat loss given the same amount of calories. It doesn't matter if the rest of the calories come from fat or carbs.

Since they were consuming the same about of calories my guess; than it would depend on activity level, sex, height, health, etc. Many other things to consider

If both person are same height, sex, activity level, (health).... exactly what diablo said ..... calories are the important players in this game

Then a study with those changes factored in would come to that conclusion which is why it would be interesting to see rather than just guess at it. This study is about how person a responds at one weight versus the same person at another weight. I'd like to know if it matters to the person's bôdy and brain how the weight changed. How the hormones respond to the way the weight changes. If leptin responds the same way. I'd like it tried on someone metabolically damaged like myself. I've been morbidly and super morbidly obese my entire life so my results to macros may be different than someone who is just a bit overweight and got that way later in life. I don't want to just wonder and i don't want my curiosity dismissed. Also, I eat between 100 and 130 grams of protein most days. I feel full and satisfied when i eat and i don't get hungry or light headed between meals. I do sometimes start to feel more hungry midmorning but that is because i am doing intermittent fasting, usually 17:7 though also 16:8. This is an entry about sharing something of interest and curiosity.

The video shows that two people who are the same height weight activity level do not respond the same way to the same amount of calories if one of those people lost to become that weight and the other was already that weight.

What makes you believe you're damaged?

I know it because of the tests and diagnoses of the doctors I've been to throughout my life. The first time I was taken to doctors for my weight was at four years of age, which was already four years into my being heavy.

I do know I tried everything to lose weight and it would not come off. I was taking Plaqunel for Sjogrens Disease. The doctor stopped this medication in January and I started to lose weight. I then started a diet myself. I’ve lost 22 lbs since then. So sometimes there are reasons you cannot lose weight.
