Day 3, and my muscles in my legs definitely are sore, but not as sore as I thought that they would be. I think that going to work at the restaurant and being on my feet definitely helped my muscles to remain warm, and be less painful today. I can't decide whether I should stick with my original thought of weighing myself once a week, or doing it daily. I sort of want to do it weekly because it will mean less obsessing over weigh ins, and bigger shows of progress, but I also want to know if I'm doing anything that is helping! Haha... oh well... any suggestions on that front? Todays exercise goal is to do complete at least 1 more set of 60 second jog 90 second walk than I did yesterday. I figured out how to get a stopwatch on my ipod, and I made enough in tip money last night that I can go buy myself a better pair of running shoes. I think that that will be my treat to myself for being so good so far! I'll update later after I've eaten and exercised. Hope you all are having a beautiful day!

Wow, your doing great! Enjoy those new running shoes cause you deserve them! About weighing in... there are lots of different opinons about it. I weigh every morning at the same time and without clothes. It keeps me on track and motivated. If you are the kind of person that gets upset if you see the scale go up when you've done nothing to deserve it.. don't weigh in daily. People who obsess about the scale numbers can be subject to eating disorders. My scales go down and UP all the time... water retention and all sorts of reasons. So the choice is yours depending on how upset you get if you step on the scale daily and it goes up...or doesn't move down? Some weeks my weight loss shows up all in one clump/one day! You need to decide on how you feel about those evil scales.

It sounds as if you have the exercise down. Be careful not to overindulge in the food department. Keep up the great work!

It is my idea that if one is staying on program, and not cheating, you should weigh in once a week; you know you are doing nothing wrong, and even if you don't lose after doing this in a given week, that's just the way dieting works. I find I weigh every day and don't count any weight but the once weekly number. But now that I have advised you I am re-thinking what I do. Perhaps that way I will stay more on track-I think I weigh so often to see what little "blunders" have done to my weight. No blunders no bad gains!!!!! So once a week might be more pleasurable.....

I am all for just once a week! Why obsess? You will see it more in your dress size the in the scale! Yeah, even typing this I don't believe it... but seriously once a week is good. Why obsess?
