Last night was a good dance! One of my neighbors showed up and we had a good chat. I brought two trays of cookies into the potluck dessert though I had intended to save one tray for the dance later in the week. Having gone to my car three times yesterday at work in order to steal a cookie each time, I chose to bring both trays to last night's dancers. Wish I had taken a picture, there were over 6 dozen cookies. Nevertheless, most were gone by halfway through the dance, and one woman with a teenage son delightedly agreed to take home the leftovers (if there were any, I left early). It is typical to mark baked goods at the dance with allergy-related labels like "contains dairy, wheat, nuts, eggs" so I marked them "ALL THE WRONG STUFF" and they went quick! Today I have no cookies but a bit of panettone which is an Italian sweet bread. Delish. Cut out a bit of cheese from dinner plan so I could fit in the bread. Yum. I put the rest of the loaf out on the Sharing Table at work about 10 minutes ago, so it should be gone by now! Happy Tuesday - going to the gym today with or without my friend!
