Last night I got hungry before bed and had brussel sprouts for a snack. You know, if you are a little hungry and eat something caramelized, it is a treat! I had sprinkled the sprouts with bacon before I stuck them in the oven and that helped too. Decided to clean my kitchen instead of finishing the veggie roast but I have salads today and avocados for the smoothies. And a banana. And cookies which I am donating tonight but one cookie slipped its way into breakfast. It didn't even taste good. Really, I can't eat other people's baking because I am such a great baker that most people can't meet those standards. Not even professional bakeries sometimes. Gotta remember that. Made some decisions to give up some furniture pieces that I have become attached to. I guess I have to admit that I am getting to Level 2 hoarding - I keep things I don't need and they are starting to impede the comfortable use of my home. I don't think I have a clinical disorder yet, as I recognize that my house has too much clutter and I working on reducing that clutter. Let's just say, though, that I realize my collecting of things has taken on an inappropriate tone. Working on that while I try to lose weight. Silly weather has now added the outdoor component where the grass has grown in warm and wet of the past few weeks. Gotta mow the lawn but the tree that fell is still in the middle of it. Going to borrow a chain saw and cut up some of it and work around it. At least clear the areas next to the walkway. Back to work today - Happy Monday all!
