I am in a very good space today. I am so grateful to be on this food plan and to know why I developed diabetes and how to eat to improve it and maybe put it into remission. Right now I am not on any diabetic medications although I will probably have to add some back when I add more carbs. I am feeling great! I am so relieved that I did not cheat on my food plan this weekend. It definitely would not have been worth it. It was a lot of effort to plan and avoid the temptations but it was definitely worth the effort. My new pants are getting baggy already and I am not choking on my bra from it being too tight anymore. We went for a 45 minute walk today and it wasn't hard at all. My weigh-in is tomorrow. I weighed 229.6 this am so I probably won't have lost much this week but I definitely shouldn't gain. Maybe I will add in my DVD workouts this week - at least put the Y workouts back in. I feel so much gratitude to finally know how to lose and keep it off forever. I've have looked for this secret my whole life and I have been lucky enough to find it.

Isn't it the most awesome feeling, Andrea???? I know exactly what you mean. We had my sis and her family over for dinner last night. Bought fried chicken, made mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and rolls. They really enjoyed it. I had baked chicken breast, salad, zucchini, tomato, and cottage cheese. Talk about temptation....I LOVE FRIED CHICKEN!! But I didn't do it...I stuck to my new WOE and I felt soooo good!! And today I dropped .8 pounds. Not much, but that much closer to the new me!! You are doing so awesome, and should feel very proud of yourself. I know I am proud of you! Keep on keepin' on!!
