I feel fortunate that I'm still on track. Lately, I've been checking the scale much too often and gave it a rest for a few days. I kept feeling like I was mindfully forcing the scale to go down. When I checked in, I was down another pound. I've learned that I need to relax on the weight loss. If I keep doing what I do now - eating healthy and exercising regularly, I will lose weight. And if some weight gain or a plateau happens, then I simply re-evaluate my habits.

Great attitude! I'll make a pact with you--I'll stay off my scale until next monday if you do the same! (That's a challenge for me as well and daily weighing hasn't served me very well lately.)

Good Work!!! Once a week is the best way to weigh in...keeps you motivated and away from the obsessive behaviors that causes the emotional roller coaster. What I decided to do is to only weigh myself on the days that FatSecret.com reminds me. You can set it up in your account settings and it will help keep you on track.
