DP I saw your question the other day about what YouTubers I use to workout. The most beastly and more your level would definitely be Caroline Girvan. My fav is probably Heather Robertson. I switched to this (cheesy lady shhhhh) named Cheryl Coulombe. She concentrates more in building muscle, no cardio. Started great but I’ve injured myself somehow… likely just wear and tear from work but it’s left elbow and now shoulder. I’m a mess. Barely lifting more than 5lb dumbbell if it has to go over my head. Ugh. It’s such a setback but I’m pushing where I can. I’m curious why you’re forsaking the gym?

No particular reason. I used to wake up naturally at 4:30 or 5 and have plenty of time for coffee and such before heading out but now I find my sleep is kind of a mess. I am waking up in the middle of the night from like 3-5 and then not wanting to get up until 7. My pf is 20 minutes away so I would have 40 minutes round trip and an hour of lifting and then have to come home and shower for work. And then I usually work in the same town so I would head right back. Just seems like a pain and if I go after work it is packed until about 6. I hate working out after 6 p.m. SO maybe I will go back again or at least on weekends when I have an open schedule...but for now I am thinking that if nothing else- I need to keep my muscle mass. This medication is known to cause muscle loss if you don't work to keep it. I don't want that. I am down 36 pounds in 5 months... with my luck 5-10 is muscle. I would die. Thanks, lady!! I will check out Caroline Girvan and Heather Robertson but I am def out of practice and feeling a bit weak.

Also- sorry you are hurt. Been there! So frustrating especially when you are in a groove.

Yes. I’m trying to keep my groove by still working out but I feel like a weakling right now. Just gotta be careful. See my doctor next week. I’ll at least know exactly what’s wrong. I’m thinking rotator cuff 🤦🏻‍♀️ Good for you on the loss. Keep at the weights. You mighten like CG or HR but there’s tons of others. They both have lots of cardio/HIIT stuff but just do their weight stuff.

sleep has been a mess for me as well. working on getting it back or closer to normal.

DP, I lift to Caroline Girvan often when I do at home workouts or traveling. I like her and find most; f her workouts challenging for utube kind of stuff. I like Heather as well but personally don't find her as challenging as CG. Nice weightless btw! 💜💪
