Nice job & outlook! Holidays will be over soon enough. What kind of BC scale did you get?

Love that you’re switching to savory food. You could always set aside a Tupperware container of food from dinner to take to work. And I love the new scale 💚

@warrior princess. I bought a Withings smart scale. I bought there smart watch after my heart attack to monitor my heart and the scale went along with the tech I already had in place.

@JB. Yes!! I already have taken left overs to work for lunch. And they are amazing. Daughter made a roll yesterday. Dough from scratch and it came out perfectly! She seasoned with garlic salt and brushed them with butter and that was breakfast. I catch her researching recipes online that are heart healthy.
She went with me to ER when I had the heart attack and I think she has decided to make healthier meals for me. She read that garlic was good for the heart somewhere and EVERYTHING was garlic, and at times too much! She has since really come into her own with her cooking skills and measuring amounts.

My husband and I had the sweet/savory conversation just a few minutes ago. Both of us love to bake, but both of us have agreed not to for the most part. I'm going to try to funnel that baking energy into learning to cook new, healthy meals.

Easy on the rolls (and bread of any kind), @Manatee! Baked goods are high in sodium and sugar. If your daughter can get into roasting vegetables, she can include a handful of garlic cloves. I use mad amounts of garlic in all my curries 😋

Nice @DM! I love BC scales. It helps alot with the mentality of losing fat & gaining muscle.
