It’s inspiring to see so many positive weigh-ins this morning.
My weight’s not exactly falling off, despite being active and averaging less than 1400 calories a day. But I’m not 20 years old anymore, and I’m trying to shake only a few kilos, so it will take time. My clothes fit, so it’s not really a huge issue.
Most importantly, though, is how much I’m enjoying being mindful again about what I eat. I’m loving making fresh, healthy, beautiful food, and finding new dishes in my recipe books, instead of quickly putting a plate of pasta together, or having coffee and rusks for breakfast. Life got really busy for a while and I had fallen into a rut with what I eat. I feel enthusiastic about cooking again.
