I lost 9lbs in the first week, 3lbs in the second week. I was so excited and proud of the first week! Although I ate the same in second week the weight loss seemed to slow down a bit. It seems even when I'm not hungry or feel like eating I lose more weight if go ahead and eat the 3 meals + 2 snacks per day. I have been following the plan strictly - well not recipe for recipe from the book but no cheating for this girl.
So two days ago began first week of Phase 2 however I am staying pretty true to the strictness of Phase 1. Still no sugar except for the minimal fruit I've added in (pears & grapes) and no starches except for some whole wheat couscous that I made a yummy salad with. I feel I still need to be very careful with my food choices, read all labels, and potentially never eat bread or pasta again. Sounds sad but I have to realize that having a healthier body is better than the alternative of a brief bit of satisfaction when the bread/pasta is in my mouth.
105.2 kg Lost so far: 3.6 kg.    Still to go: 37.2 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.
