I ate poorly over the weekend on Friday and Saturday nights... I had done so well prior to that and I was so proud of the work I did before my last weigh in. Then I went and blew it on too much chickpea curry on Friday and jalapeno poppers, gyros, and chocolate cake on Saturday. I was so proud of myself and I'm still not sure why I went against that pride and gave in to temptation for two days... It's so frustrating! Why isn't weight loss a steady stream, why is there so much questioning and lack of confidence? And why does your body react so quickly to things you used to eat all the time? Did I used to gain .4 pounds from regular fat cream cheese and cake and all of that awful stuff? I worked out for 90 minutes on Saturday and for 45 minutes yesterday, so I'm sure that helped to burn off what could have been a lot worse.
But I am still frustrated. I am 7 pounds away from my goal. 7 STUPID POUNDS. I am more ready than ever to burn those off. I am going to do the following things to keep myself accountable for the next 11 weeks until my goal day, and what happens, happens! --Work out 6 days a week for at least 30 minutes at a time --Drink nothing but water and tea every day, at least 4 bottles a day --I will eat nothing sweet, with alcohol, or clearly BAD for me. (No cake, no birthday shots, and no more gyro sauce!) --Each time I get downhearted about myself, I will look at one of the motivational signs I posted yesterday in my kitchen and get my confidence back. I WILL be a size 8 by May 17, 2009!!
