How did you get such beautiful roses? What is the variety? The rain here is killing mine.

Thanks guy! I love my roses too much! ♥️ scampbell, I don't have any trouble with root rot, and as Chris says, I don't have an incline and the drainage is... Well all I can say is I have no puddles, but the soil is very clay like. My biggest issue is fungus. Living in Seattle area, it is an awful fight... I'm out fussing with my bushes nearly daily and for sure spraying them with some hopeful concoction weekly. We have had a ton of rain this last week, but of my 13 bushes, most are still not blooming a ton, so the flowers are not damaged by the rain.

And, sadly, I don't know the verity. I just love, love this bush! It is such a happy color, is my first each year to bloom, and the scent is totally amazing... As Chris can attest to! I sent a couple flowers home for his wife when he was up helping us learn to "clone" a tree I want. ☀

Haha, believe me, they have been given tender loving care and a good fertilizer! Mostly I think they've been waiting for sun and warm weather to bloom! Lots of buds are opening today!!!! 😁

Thanks, Lonnie! And you see that out of focus corner picture? I thought of your perfect photography and hesitated to post, but... Oh well! 🙂 On my way, wifey! ❤️

That is a beautiful rose bush. I planted yellow roses but my plant has not prospered.
Thank you for sharing

Thanks, y'all!!! I'm sad, tatauu. 😢 Does it just need more time? Princess!! Crazy you! Thankfully, this bush is tucked further up next to the house, and the midnight marauders ate their way past three of my less loved bushes before finding this one. They only snacked on a few buds. I've got at least 75 left on this bush!!! 😁

Melissa, it's had time. I'm going to transplant it to another spot to see if that helps.
