Today was the first day of the new diet. I was worried about what I could eat, afraid I'd have to buy a bunch of really expensive "healthy" food. Surprisingly, I was able to eat pretty much what I had been eating before, I've just avoided my snacks... my pretzel pieces, my bbq pork rinds, my candy bars. I think Nutella will be able to scratch that chocolate itch quite nicely but I do miss the snacks at night. I suppose I could eat them if I wanted, I still have some snack calories available, I'm just afraid I'd be tempted to keep eating after my 1/3rd cup was gone, lol. The exercise program was pretty tough, the pushups and the situps are going to be a problem for me. I'm concerned about my knees too, but I'm taking it at my own pace and will not hurt myself. I think this diet might be something I can stick with, I'm not hungry, but I want to snack something fierce.
