Ok, I told you guys that I started LA Weight Loss with my husband a few days ago, and that I wasn't really crazy about it. Jaqisbaq gave me some encouraging advice to stick with it and glean any new knowledge and tips I could get from it. Man, do I have a tip!! I was stuck at the world's longest plateau (for me, 175)FOREVER and honestly had no idea how to bust it. I worked out like crazy, ate right, and seriously didn't cheat for so long. But I was barely losing 0.5 lbs a week. I lost 4.6 pounds this week on LA! I'm not using any of their supplements, just regular grocery store food. And I know what I was doing wrong: I wasn't eating ENOUGH! I kept trying to shave a few calories here and there, tweak my work out.... It did get me under 175, but just barely. They put me on a plan that made me feel like I was eating all the time. I just knew I had gained at least a pound. But they said that, with my activity level, I needed to eat that many calories to burn more fat and calories more efficiently. I'm not on here to promote LAWL, but my tip of the year is to eat a little more and exercise a little more to start speeding up that weight loss. I was floored. :-)
