Weigh-in putting me back in my place. Cannot keep going out all the time like that, and looking back on it: if it ain't broke don't fix it. I was doing great and shrinking quick, tasted fried food and then went back for seconds, thirds, fourths...
It stops today, back to strict counting and good foods. Hanging out with friends tonight may be rough, but maybe I can offset it by exercising extra this afternoon.
Now the positive stuff: I have had no soda since Lent started, and it no longer feels like a huge burden to not have it. That knocks out half of my old caloric intake right there. I will continue to dance for at least 10 minutes a day, which is really no sweat because I love doing it and we have a show coming up on the 16th so I need all the practice I can get. 3 pounds is not a total devastation, and I'm sure I will shrink back down before the week is out.
