Weight down. The Pleasure Seeking Appetite is dying off. Had no refined carbs yesterday.
It was hard to quit, but it sure feel good to be back to a hunger based appetite.

That is good news. Can you juggle them, you think? It is something I wonder about for myself a bit

Keep it up. That’s great! The first days getting rid of excess glycogen in the liver and muscles is a bit frustrating, but not that bad nor not that lengthy. I’ve lost 168 pounds in approx the last year doing keto (less than 10g carbs/day with high fats and no refined fats) at first and now carnivore (no refined fats, high fats all animal sourced food), both in conjunction with intermittent fasting. Ruminant, especially beef, seems to be a very effective source of protein and you get all the vitamins more effectively that way. When I completely cut out carbs, it seemed “extreme”, but it wasn’t at all. I felt SO much better and my weight just keeps dropping. I also experience autophagy due to the combo of intermittent fasting. My body is digesting old bad cells, including excess skin cells. It’s quite extraordinary. If I had known about this before. I have MS and GBS and it’s made my quality of life so much better. My type 2 diabetes is gone, hypertension is gone, GERD is gone and early stage kidney failure fixed. Kidney function is great. My cardiologist put me on this diet. He’s one of the few docs taking a risk coming out with the truth about this simple biochemistry effective healthy “hack” to the body. Keep up your path my friend. Best regards.

@Diddlee - yes it's so hard to eat just some carbs, much easier to let go of them completely. @DrumChild. What an amazing story! You've saved yourself! And kudos to that doctor to support you.
