Yesterday, I had the grand kids for over nine hours. Where do I find that on the Exercise list? At the pool, I beat my record (12) and swam EIGHTEEN laps! I found out that 30 laps is a mile, so I actually swam over 1/2 mile! Mind you, I don't swim the laps all at one time - I swim 4-6 at a time, but just DID it several times! I resisted several temptations at the pool! I got the kids an order of French fries to share and I didn't even have one. I also got them ice cream to share and passed on that too. Lest you think I only feed them bad foods, I only got the extras because they ate all of the yogurt, string cheese and boiled eggs I brought first! Weight down again this morning. I'm very pleased with that, especially since I haven't had a BM in three days. I've been keeping my calories surprisingly low. I expected to have a hard time getting it back down to 1,800, but not snacking all day has really helped! Last night, I would have liked something else to eat, but I had maxed out the Net Carbs, and my bacon wasn't thawed. It feels so good to have the "old Debbie" back!!!

Glad to hear that you’re feeling so good. And I’m so sorry I missed your birthday. My memory isn’t the best these days, so happy birthday, belatedly. I have been praying for you and the gentleman staying with you, though, and I’m happy you’re having fun with your grandkids. Our first grandchild is due January 5th, and I’m really getting excited about all the possibilities that lie ahead. So hearing about others and their grandchildren is giving me lots of ideas for the future. You take care and keep on doing what you’re doing, sweetie! 👍🏻🎉🥰

And you sound the way I feel. Looking at what I accomplish instead of what I still need to do.
