I have been on a hiatus for a few months... now I am back... it is day 2 of getting back on track... I have slacked on exercises... but I really saw my weight gain start when i cut out all the meat from my diet... i kept my calories low, but I believe the lack of meat and eating lots of Twizzlers has done me in... even though i only gained about 5-6 pounds... I can really feel the difference in how my clothes fit...so with that said... I am back on board... I ran 1.25 miles yesterday and today...
61.1 kg Lost so far: 8.1 kg.    Still to go: 2.1 kg.    Diet followed: Poorly.

good luck! it looks like you've done some good work already. it won't take long to get back on track, especially b/c you really known what you're doing!

glad to have you back LaShaun, if you don't mind me asking why did you cut the meat out of your diet? Are you Vegetarian/Vegan? The problem with cutting out meat sometimes is when you overcompensate with sugar and carbs it can do you in.

No, I am not a Vegan....but I have never been a big meat eater and before I started eating healthier a little over a year ago... I would go 2-3 months without eating a single peice of meat, then I might eat a hamburger or a hot dog at a cook out and than of cource turkey and ham on thanksgiving, christmas and easter... thats about it. I found as you stated that I lived on sweets...twizzlers by the pack and hot tomales by the movie sized box... I love them. Once I started eating meat, I no longer had these huge cravings for sugar.
