Yesterday was a "perfect" day. I did everything RIGHT (for a change). I even fasted from 2pm yesterday afternoon until 8am this morning (18 hours). I slept in this morning (8am instead of my usual 4:30-6am) because I was out "past my bedtime" last night.
I only lost 1/2 of a pound of the weight I had gained over the past several days of non-compliance with my WOE, but I'm HAPPY with that. I know the rest will come back off soon, and I'll begin toward the 170's. Doing the "right things" makes scale fluctuations much less frustrating - whether they're UP, or not as DOWN as we would like to have seen! I am resolved to have another "perfect" day today. I hope every one of YOU do too!
In case anyone is wondering, the few ounces of Champagne in my food log were celebratory. I don't even LIKE alcohol of any kind (praise the Lord - the last thing I need is another addiction!!!) But, my friend is from the "upper class," where either fine wine or champagne are a part of every celebration. We were celebrating the completion of recording a three-part "self tape" for a television commercial spot! If she GETS the part, I'm sure there will be another half glass celebration!
