My weight is becoming steady now. I don't think its a plateau but rather a balancing of my weight loss with my muscle gain. I have been trying to build up my leg muscles by keeping the incline high on my treadmill and walking at least 2 miles per day.
My weighing scale says that I have increased my total body water from 41% to 44%. I think that means that I have an increase in blood supply. Is there any other type of fluid that could have increased?
My body fat is at 36%, down 2% from last week.
My muscle mass has also increased from 90 lbs to 92 lbs.
So in conclusion, I have lost approximately 5lbs and 2% body fat in one week. I have also managed to gain 2lbs in muscle.
I just read an article that you have to consume a minimum of 900 calories per day otherwise you body not only loses body fat but also some muscle too. Will have to rethink my diet plan to increase my calorie consumption whilst still keeping my carbs down.
